Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization

The sliding glass panel and sunshades will fully open together.

If roof opening panel does not operate correctly repeat. The roof opening panel glass will move to the full vent position then back to closed initialization movements. Momentary pull power shade switch for less when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof then one second and release. Initialization is now complete.

Verify successful initialization by carrying out one touch open one touch close one touch vent glass and one touch open for the shades. Turn the ignition to the run position. If the slide switch is released before initialization movements are complete turn the ignition key to the off position then back to the run position and repeat this step. When the sunshades have stopped moving release the roof opening panel control switch.

Then the sliding glass panel will close first and then the sunshades will return to the fully closed position. The roof opening panel will cycle slightly rearward and then slightly forward to the stored open position. Pull and hold the roof opening panel control switch. Then the sliding glass panel will close first and then the sunshades will return to the fully closed position.

Initialization is now complete. Verify successful initialization by carrying out one touch open one touch close one. The roof opening panel motor s must be initializedc. The sliding glass panel and sunshades will fully open together.

For an existing roof opening panel motor skip to step 3. Quickly release and re press and hold the slide switch. For a new roof opening panel motor proceed to step 2. For a new roof opening panel motor.

Assembly a new roof opening panel motor has been installed or when a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.
